  • Site Establishment including Principal Contractor Duties
  • Supervision of unloading, placement of anti vibration pads and positioning on center lines
    • Inspection and assessment of all delivered components prior to commencement
  • Unpacking, inspection and preparation of auxiliary components
  • Preparation of all gaskets as/if required
    • Assembly/installation of components, bushings, oil pumps, A-frame & radiators, conservator, pipe-work etc.
  • Application of vacuum prior to oil filling
    • Oil preparation and streamline filtering during fill process
  • Assembly and installation of fans and control wiring etc.
  • Oil Sampling & Analysis
  • PCP has 100kva and 17kva generator sets.
  • Transformer Testing includes

–          Insulation Resistance, Polarisation Index

–          DC Winding Resistance

–          Transformer Turns Ratio & Vector

–          OTI, WTI calibration/verification

–          Functional/operation checks

–          CT Polarity, Ratio, Resistance Mag Curve

–          Sweep Frequency Response Analysis

–          DLA, Transformer, Bushings, Excitation Current C1/C2

–          Transformer Impedance

–          Aerial Inspection of Transformer/Switchyards (UAV)

–          Transformer Steam Cleaning with a three phase diesel steam cleaner.

  • PCP has added to its testing ability by purchasing an Omicron DIRANA Test Set. The DIRANA test set is a dielectric response analyser for the insulation diagnoses of high voltage assets in the power industry. DIRANA provides an indication of the insulation condition such as:
  •           – Moisture content in the oil/paper insulation
  •           – Condition of OIP, RBP, and RIP high-voltage bushings
  •           – Condition of the generator, motor and cable insulation

  • Complete final inspection and touch-up
  • Site tidy and disestablishment

This work is performed in accordance with your specification, health & safety, environmental, procedural and timing requirements.
